Cambellston scotches
Springbank 15yr
Glen Scotia 17 Cambellston
Islay Scotches
Bowmore Darkest fantastic sherry aroma with almonds and mature oak. peaty notes are an excellant foil to the fruity flavors and do not allow the sherry-casking to dominate this incredible scotch
Bowmore Dusk finished in bordeaux barrels, immediately the claret flavors arrive, just ahead of the peaty, smoldering warmth of the Islays, wave after wave of chocolate, licorice and black bun
Bowmore Dawn there's no missing the ruby port cask finish, but the delightful balance of peat, smoke and marine notes, which Bowmore is renowned, are still very evident
Ardbeg 10 The owner's everyday scotch! It is powerful, heavy smoke and almost ether-like in its aroma. Smoke explodes on the palate, giving way to peatiness, and a taste of tears. There is a predominate oily mouthfeel to this scotch, much like the Clynelish. The color is strawlike, almost lagerlike.
Lagavulin 16 yr Robust body, smoky, peaty taste, silky, dry finish. Another of the "classic malts"
Highland scotches
Dalwhinnie 15 yr old.delicately smokey malt, gentle. tastes of honey, heather, a whisper of smoke. one of the "classic" scotches
Glenfiddich 15 a full and fragrant nose, with delicate honey and vanilla notes. It is wonderfully smooth, with great depth of flavor, combining fruit, gentle spice, and a touch of oakiness
Glenfiddich 18 sublimely mellow, acquired over a long maturation in olorossosherry and traditional bourbon casks. having an elegant nose, it has scents of apple and wood. It has a slightly sweet palate, perfectly balanced by subtle oak and a delicate maltiness
Glenfiddich 12 fresh and fruity nose, with a touch of pear. it has a distinctive, well-balanced taste withrich fruit flavors, subtle pine and a hint of peatiness
Glenmorangie 10 Light, floral, with mandarin, vanilla and light smokiness. Well balanced flavor carries traces of honeywood and nuts, whilst the aftertaste is clean and salving. The flavors stand up to ice!
Glenmorangie 12 Port Described as sipping velvet, it has the color of antique copper; golden but with a rosy hue. It can be brought to life with a touch of water, the key aromas are of butterscotch and dark chocolate, but with fresh, minty notes and a touch of dryness like lint. the mouthfeel is smooth
Glenmorangie 12 Sherry cask Acomplex aroma with sherry wine notes and a trace of honey, its sweet and almost mead-like. Taken with a splash of water, citric fruit emerges as do traces of nuts. Overall impression is fresh with a layer of honeycomb in the background. Soon the nuttiness becomes stronger, the scent sweetened with vanilla and caramel.
Glenmorangie 18 Possessing a deep, gold color, it is warm. The bouquet is very full, round andperfumed with nutty, caramel and vanilla overtones. The taste is exceptionally smooth, 'silky', and round. It is fine, full flavored and subtle. it has a long consistent aftertaste.
